ASTRA Stroke India Foundation is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to creating a stroke-aware India through education, awareness, prevention, and timely intervention.
Founded by renowned neurologist Dr. Aarati Kulkarni, the Foundation works to empower individuals and communities with the knowledge to recognize stroke symptoms, understand risk factors, and respond quickly during emergencies. Through awareness campaigns, educational workshops, health screenings, community outreach programs, and collaborations with hospitals, educational institutions, corporate organizations, and government bodies, ASTRA strives to reduce the incidence and impact of stroke across the country.
The Foundation also promotes rehabilitation, supports stroke survivors and their families, and advocates for improved access to quality stroke care. With a strong belief that awareness can save lives, ASTRA Stroke India Foundation is building a future where every individual is equipped to act swiftly, helping reduce disability, improve recovery outcomes, and create healthier communities throughout India.
